    I tripped over this information this morning. I was feeling less than stellar and have been noticing that I usually feel better after my breakfast. For the past few months, I’ve been having LaLa sugar free yogurt and fresh pineapple. This morning, my nose was three feet wide (allergy) and I was stuffed up. After breakfast, it was down to its normal size and I could breathe. Whuh? I googled bromelain + histamine and…Pineapple is an effective anti-histamine.

    Edited to add: Just got an e-mail from a friend here who said…”Amazing! I’ve been taking some fresh pineapple as an evening snack and am breathing more easily at night…hummm”. Go figure.
